| What is EAV Testing ? EAV / EDS Testing The term EAV stands for, electro-acupuncture after Voll. EDS - electro-dermal screening, is the same system of testing that is used, its just a different name for doing this type of testing / treatment. It is a testing and treatment system found and evolved by Dr. Reinhardt Voll, of taking initial measurement readings from the fingers and toes of a person. It is a Modern Acupuncture system not a TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) system. It can be used as a computerised system, which is a bonus for the patient in being able to see what is being measured, points and body wise. Other systems like formulae and TCM do not use computerisation. The term electro-acupuncture does not mean that you get a shock of electricity or something similar from testing or treatment. It is a way of taking measurement readings from a person to find out what is causing their particular condition or problem. The objective of using this type of accurate system is to find out if there are any underlying causes that may have been missed or even forgotten about by the person, via the testing.
One area mentioned on this web site already, are dental problems, these can be insidiously going on in the background, but, having major effects on that persons body, causing seemingly unrelated health problems.
An Example Graph Generated from Measurement Readings of a Computerised EAV System
A case history that comes to mind that is not related to the example graph above, is of a lady with quite bad sciatic pain in her right leg. She had seen a number of practitioners with this complaint with no alleviation, as an inquisitive practitioner this made me stop and think about what was possibly being missed ? So instead of treating her physically, I tested her with EAV, using a Mora unit, after taking readings, a dental problem was found on her back right molar. When asked about it, she replied that she was waiting to go into dental hospital for an extraction of this tooth, as it also was causing her major problems, pain wise. So I treated the dental pain problem, I hasten to add temporarily. As the dental problem was being treated her sciatic pain started to alleviate, when treatment was stopped it started to return !
I would have been the same as all the other practitioners she had seen previously, if I had followed a set treatment plan. This is also another reason why I became a Registered Osteomyologist. I would have given her physical treatments but would not have addressed the problem from the patients pain perspective or expectations, or for that matter my own expectations. The patient thanked me for at least taking the time and trouble to find out why and what was causing the problem, even though she still had pain.
Post dental operation, the patient telephoned to say that her sciatica had cleared more or less just after the dental operation on her back right molar.
Moral of the story is, not everything needs manipulation or physical treatments. The use of EAV testing allowed me to look at other areas as opposed to doing or assessing from a physical treatments basis, that had not been successful by other practitioners.
