| Flower Remedies
There are many types of remedies made from flowers. These remedies are NOT the same as Aromatherapy oils.
Probably the most common name associated with flower remedies is Bach Flower Remedies.
These were originally found to be of use by Dr. Edward Bach an English Doctor 1886 - 1936.
He developed a natural medicine, to treat the spiritual and emotional health, discovering the 38 Bach Flower Remedies that are plant and flower based essences, each one specially devised to treat a different feeling, and a combination of 5 Bach Flowers designated to difficult situations that demand to much from people that he called Rescue Remedy®.
37 of the 38 Bach Flowers are flowers from wild shrubs and trees, the exception being Rock Water that is prepared with pure natural water of a fountain with healing properties.
The Bach Flowers help you to manage the emotional demands of everyday life, the kind of feelings that affect everyday life in the present days.
The Bach Flowers, as well as other natural medicines, as an effect treating the person and not the disease or it's symptoms. They act specifically in the emotional condition of the affected person, so, two persons with the same complaint could benefit from different Bach Flowers. For example, both could suffer from an arthritic shoulder, one could be resigned to the disease, while the other maybe impatient with it, so different Bach Flowers would be suited to each case.
The effect, as taking Bach Flower Remedies, is not to suppress the negative attitudes but to transform them in positive attitudes, so allowing the body's own capacity to heal itself.
People don't need to be physically ill to benefit from taking Bach Flowers. It's normal for people to pass through periods of difficulties and fatigue, that could become a negative state. It is at this time that Bach Flowers can be very helpful in restoring the equilibrium before physical symptoms appear.
The Bach Flower Remedies are unique, and are simple to use by any person, without the necessity of specific medical attendance. They are suitable for all the family, and are available from most health shops. It is important to realise that this therapy works more on emotional problems than physical illness but have a positive effect on the physical via the emotions. The Bach Flowers work more on the subtle body, not healing the physical sickness directly, by helping to lift the persons emotions, whilst they are dealing with the physical illness, so bringing about a better quality of life. The present flowers can be used in conjunction with any conventional or complementary medicines, including allopathic, herbal, or homoeopathic remedies, without any negative interference. So they are complementary of other therapies by reducing negative effects that can be encountered.
Since there are many other flower remedies from Australian to Californian flower remedies.
There are also remedies made from other trees and shrubs not used within the Bach flower system that have also been found to be helpful with people.
The clinic does an in-depth consultation using computer software that will calculate against ALL of the above mentioned remedies, so that the correct remedy or remedies can be chosen for the person as an individual.
